Last look

As another first friday fast approaches, my show must move on. Here are a couple of picts of the drawings that I did as companion pieces for the bottles. Finally I did a literary piece for my pal Steven, it's been about 5 years coming no doubt (why I rarely do commissions I stink at fitting them in:P) Based on the Alice painting I did for my show. Thanks to Steven for being patient and persistant and all y'all check out his amazing collection here BAM!

Faster than a speeding bullet!

Or at least a tin can. I figured in a downturn ecconomy it's always good to have a plan B. This is mine: a 22' Safari Airstream. If I loose my job and my house without wheels I can just go hobo style and eat and heat out of a can. This isn't exactly the one I bought, but it will look just like this with the polished propane tanks too boot. It's waiting for me in Colorado so when I finally get my grubby hands on it more picts will follow. Big thanks to my Sissy ,Bro-in-law and Bob for getting this together for me...

Redeux

I originally wanted the Witch to be less Halloween witchy and more voo doo witch doctor but didn't have time to rework it. Finally I did and the result is the latter sketch. Also not happy with the original sketch of my mermaid, her arms were butt, so this is the rework for that sketch. All is coming along...

Stack it up!

A couple of new designs for Gama-go are in...one of my favorites is this new owl one. Should have more on the way soon. Also working hard on my new show at The Mercy Seat Tattoo in October. I'm going in a good direction but still much a do, will post new sketches on that next week. The title will be All Bottled Up, and should be nice and dark just in time for Hallows Eve fun!

Rejects!

Here are two slightly different versions of the logo posted below. The latter in this post was my favorite but I am was pretty happy with all of them overall. More news to come soon. I am currently working on a commission and will post picts of that soon. Also more Gama coming and and... a new show in October woo hoo!!

New logo

Designed a couple of new logos for my boyfriends band outta St louis called Saence. This is the one they picked, I will post the non picks later. Also if you are into a sort of  Tool, Black Sabbath, dark rock kinda thing you can check them out here and here. Spring is Sprung

So here we are in the winding down days of my show at the Fantastic Mercy Seat Tattoo shop. Again I cannot stress enough what a fantastic and talented shop they are and how generous they have been to me. Especially in these hard times it is important to support local shops and local artists. Ok enough of my soap box.
