Sneaky Peek

So here is an ultra Sneak-a-Peek of what the story is looking like. I kept a limited palette as it lends itself to the story, my artwork, and the time constraints of lateness. So far so good but a long way still to go...

Cat-a-log

Here are some assorted panels from the comic goodness for my co-lab with Mr. Rich. As you can see there is a star in this show. Off to color and letter it all this weekend, take a breath or two, and start on my pieces for my December show. I am super excited to start those as I am doing both 2D and 3D paintings. Sleep is over-rated!

Kitten, kittens all around!

So I am off... this is just a little tiny itsy bitsy preview into the new comic I am working on with Jamie S. Rich. It like everything in my life right now involves the wonderfulness of kittens. On that note, whew last week sucked. Like some sort of poo vortex. Anywhoo, kittens on the mend, finally, and kittens in the story. Oh and I have an offical plan of sorts on my show in December and it involves hands, and bones...ooooo! There is some sort of rude joke in there somewhere but I am too lazy to touch it, (ha there is another rudie!)

For the Love of Pete

Work is slow... if I can just keep my kittens on the mend and outta the Med Vet I would be accomplishing oodles more. Please send good juju to Stubby and Abby Seda P.O. box this stinks! (On that note tho, they give a 4 paw salute to the Morses amazing dog Pete and wish them quickly mended hearts.) Saddies and sickies aside, I have 2 big projects in the works besides Gama-go newbies. A  six page comic that I am doing with the super duper Jamie S. Rich of Cut my Hair , The Everlasting and Have you seen the Horizon Lately fame. And a solo show at the Mercy Seat in Kansas city on December 5th. Postings of sketches/drawings etc will be posted toot sweet as they roll out. Stay tuned....

Art Unleashed

This is my newest piece, it's based on the James Bond movie Octopussy and is painted on an old album cover from the 60's . I was planning on doing a series of these and may still. I like the idea of using the shapes on the cover as a base for the painting, I also like using recycled materials. The coolest thing is it will be auctioned off with oodles of other kick ass art, in a fundraiser for the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City. The poop scoop on that is: Uptown Theatre tomorrow night 7-10pm, food, drinks etc tickets are $35 at the door and all proceeds help out the lost and lonely aniamls of kc :D
